progress

Ive had slow steady progress. Work has been very hard. It's hard to cook without tasting things.

158.5 today YAY 150's!

I got my weekly stats done today with the following results:

Up a pound in water weight, EIGHT POUNDS OF FAT GONE...IN EIGHT DAYS! WHOOT!

Down 6% body fat.

So today is day nine, giving me 14 more days of HCG. Work is going to be super busy these next two weeks, I cant decide if that is going to make this easier or harder. I am hoping to lose at least 10 more pounds by the end. My TOM will be right at the end of the HCG round which is not exactly ideal...but I'll have to do my best and hope for the best.

Next stop I am hoping for by monday is 155. That would be pushing it, but would be awesome!

Nervous

Down a pound today, Back at 160.0

I am nervous about going back to work today in regards to my diet. Did I mention I bake and cook for a living? Yeah so NO tasting, careful what I handle. It's going to be hard so I hope I have enough will power to just take an apple with me, drink lots of tea, and be happy with that.

I made soup for dinner last night because I was cold. Vegetable bullion, a handfull of white onion, sliced meat, fresh ground pepper and a couple ginger slices.

It was pretty good and all the warm liquid was filling.

Good luck all...I'm still shooting to get rid of this 6 on the scale!

And, a step in the wrong direction

I put a pound back on....now I know I am still doing well...but..it's so discouraging....
My honey and I went to breakfast and I just had coffee. He got biscuits and gravy with eggs and bacon...I was upset about my gain and part of me just wanted to say...screw it and have some...because yes it did smell SO good.

But I didn't.

I have been good. I just had my lunch of chopped lettuce with diced (weighed) chicken breast with liquid aminos and apple cider vinegar. And those grindable spices you can get at the store now, one called "salad topper" tasty.

I hope tomorrow will be better.

Sunday, day four

Down another pound. Good riddance and I hope never to see you again!
I am at 160.0 today. It would make me so happy to never weigh in the 60's again. I am hoping with all my heart for the 50's tomorrow.
start weight:165.0 on 2/21/08
Current weight:160.0 on 2/24/08 wow!

Menu yesterday: coffee for breaky (I splurged and had a TB of silk (soy creamer)
snack: Strawberries and my cracker
lunch: sliced tomato with seasoning and lemon garlic shrimp
snack: apple and my second cracker
Dinner: buffalo steak (very lean) with S/P and rosemary. My honey prepared it so it had a tiny bit of Olive oil...he didn't realize I could not have that. And 4 asparagus spears with salt and pepper.
Trying to keep up on the 2 large glasses of tea per day and water whenever I think about it. That is normally enough to net me at least 60 oz of liquid.

Now that my body has adapted a bit I find it much better to split my meals up rather than eat it all in one sitting. I rather like having my fruit and cracker seperate and my energy seems higher that way.

This morning was my first that I didn't wake up with the empty gut feeling.

Anyway I am very happy that I have already lost 5 pounds after 3 days completed! I am so hoping not to hit a wall like I always seem to when losing weight.

I just have to have faith and be careful.

I can do this. I am 25% of the way there already!

Day 2-horrible night

Ugh, what a horrible night. my stomach was all crampy from like 4pm until 3 am. I also had a fever or what resembled one in the late hours. Freezing cold, hurt all over, then I finally fell asleep and woke up sweating bullets and feeling a little better. I can't say what the deal was with all that. Anyway. This morning I am feeling a little stiff and rather hungry. I am having a cup of coffee. Just had my shot and I think I'll have my apple here soon.

On the plus side. Or less side...
I did lose a pound last night. Maybe a bit more, the scale was being finnicky.
Start weight:165.0
This morning: 163.5-164
Loss:1 lb

Yesterday to eat:
B: Coffee with stevia and an apple
L: Chicken breast with rosemary and a little garlic, and a handful of "sauteed" onion.
Snack: 1/2 grapefuit and 2 kashi crackers. (something I should probably take out but I don't have a melba around).
Dinner: grilled halibut with a handful of lettuce topped with braggs liquid aminos and a teaspoon of unfiltered apple cider vinegar.
To drink: coffee, 2 16 oz glasses of Wu long tea, 1 16 oz glass of white tea, and about 20 oz of plain H20.

So, since I just finished TOM I am wondering if that's part of the loss or if this is actually working. I'd love to think so. I was reading LBS and Inches and noticed some differences between it's eating/dosing advice to Kevin T's. My biggest concern is my doc just advised injecting sub Q with a diabetic needle and Simeons says Intramuscular. Well, I guess a few more days will certainly tell if I am getting effective dosing.

I wish everyone well in their endevors!

Beginning my journey at 165 pounds.

Chest: 38"
Waist: 32"
my "ponch": 38"
hips: 40.5"
thigh-mid: 21.5"
thigh-upper: 24.5"

later this a.m. I am going to the doc's for an official start weigh in to check body fat % and all that good stuff.

I have a grapefruit ready for breakfast and a cup of plain old coffee in my hand.
To all who may see this, please, wish me luck in my reformation!
